Friday's Five Faves

First and foremost, holy hotter Batman!  We have triple digits this weekend people.  My crazy husband is actually going golfing in this nonsense.  Me?  You can find me sitting in the AC in my skivvies.  Good thing I have no life right now besides studying for the bar-zam.  This routine barely requires me to brush my teeth regularly, let alone put on decent cothes.  Stay cool this weekend, and for the love of all things holy, please bring your pets (and children) inside.

As for what I am loving this week...

* Still on the subject of this heat, my skin seems to have reverted back to middle school and has been breaking out a little.  Most of those hardcore zit creams dry my skin out, so I was pretty happy to come across this stuff.  I love Burt's Bees, and this product did not disappoint.  Clearer skin without the crusties.  Thank you Burt.

* Also in the skincare world, Cetaphil's new DermaControl line of cleansers and moisturizers also targeted at helping out problem skin.  I've used the regular old Cetaphil for years, but in the summers I need something to combat oilier skin.  I picked up the facewash and daily moisturizer (SPF 30!) and really like them both.

 

* Peaches are peaking, and they've been delicious!  My latest obsession is slicing one up over some vanilla fro-yo.  This concoction may just make an appearance tonight...

 

* The Ivanka Trump line.  Oh-la-la, her clothes are so pretty and classy.  I've bought a few things from this line (sold only at Belk, I think??) and everything has fit really well.  The colors and fabrics are really nice too.  I love this coral dress I picked up the other day...majorly on sale I might add.

 

* Satellite radio.  Granted, I only have it right now because I got 6 free months with my new ride.  I'm not sure I'll actually subscribe to it when the trial period is over, but I'm loving it for the time being.  This is because there are cool stations (or channels, or waves, or whatever they are called) like 90's on 9, where they play throwbacks like this little gem...
