I'm new to this!

So don't hold it against me please...ok, thanks:) I (like so many other people in the blog world) decided that this would be a great way to keep family and friends in the loop since I feel like we live so far away from everyone. I love looking at the blogs of my friends because I can see pictures, updates and other fun stuff that they have been up to. Like I really need something else to do with my time right? This is great place for me to post pictures, announcements and whatever else is going on since not everyone is on Facebook (namely being my mother), and quite frankly, I have been a little over Facebook these days...too many changes and I can't keep up! Maybe blogging will be easier....we shall see. Since we all know how outspoken I can be, coupled with my love to write about things of importance (importance generally being defined as my own personal opinions and views on topics), I also plan to use this to discuss things and current events that I think are interesting. Ok, ready, set, go!!
