Ok, wow, lots to catch up on. Does anyone else feel like Christmas came and went so fast this year? I think it's because Thanksgiving was so late. I never had a chance to unwind from T'giving and prepare for Christmas before it was already upon us. This whole holiday season has been such a whirlwind, and since it was so crazy, unfortunately I did not document or take many pictures. Sigh. Isn't that always the case with the holidays? You spend so much time going, going, going, buying, buying, buying, that you never have time to just sit back, relax and enjoy. I've promised myself that it will NOT be like that next year.
Amidst all the craziness of the season I still took time to thank God for our most special gift of 2013...our precious Asher Wade. Babies truly make Christmas magical and even more special. I know AW did not really know what was going on, but I could still see the wonder in his eyes. I can't wait for next year, and all the years after that, when he will be caught up in all the magic and excitement.

Meeting Santa for the first time. He was half intrigued, half scared to death. |
We traveled to KY to be with Matt's family for Christmas this year. This will be the last year we travel for Christmas since AW will start to be more aware next year and we want to be home for Santa and all that jazz. We had a great time visiting with family.
