Due date: May 1, 2012 (this keeps changing every appointment!)
How far along: 14 weeks
Size of baby: A lemon
Weight gain: About 2 pounds over my starting weight. Definitely got a little bump now!
Maternity clothes: Not wearing any yet, but I did pick up a few dresses, tops and pants from Gap Maternity for later (love that store by the way). My regular pants are uncomfortable, but I don't really need full on maternity pants yet, so I'm just living in comfy dresses (and using that rubberband trick).
Movement: Don't feel anything yet, but that sweet thing was moving all over the place during our ultrasound this week!
Sleep: Besides waking up a few times during the night, not too bad. Still using my Snoogle. I have bad nightmares or just really bizarre dreams pretty often too.
Cravings: My appetite is definitely getting better. Usually I'll just randomly think of something that sounds good and I have to have it. Needless to say, we've been eating out a lot. Still eating a cinnamon raisin bagel most mornings. Lunch and dinner consist of whatever sounds good at that moment. I'm for sure craving salty over sweet. Peanut butter banana sandwiches are staples. Really enjoying fruits and veggies too.
Aversions: Not really anything in particular, except most ice cream.
Symptoms: A little queasiness still (especially at night), but not too bad!
What I miss: Maybe being able to have a glass of wine or a martini at dinner....
What I'm looking forward to: Finding out Baby Mac's sex, hopefully at our next appointment, although we won't really find out till the big gender reveal!!
Best moment of the week: Making our news publicly (a/k/a social media) known! Also going for our 14 week checkup and hearing the heart beat.
We did have a little scare at first...they were just planning on using the doppler thing (that seriously looks like a dinky thermometer), but the tech couldn't get a heart beat. It was horribly scary for us. They moved me right in to get a sono and Baby Mac immediately popped up, heart just beating away:) Peanut was just curled up in a ball, sleeping, facing away, so they couldn't get it. Why they don't just do a sono every time I can't understand.

Thoughts on pregnancy: I just love being pregnant! Even when I'm not feeling so great, I wouldn't trade it for anything. This sounds corny, but I've honestly never felt so beautiful. I'm proud of my little bump and I love looking at it and rubbing it. I'm just so....happy:) All the time.
Here's my latest bump picture (a little dark) and one of my awesome maternity jeans, which just crack me up.

Love your maternity jeans! You won't want to go back to regular jeans again, haha. You look great!!
CUTE maternity jeans! I LOVED wearing maternity jeans...especially eating in them. :) Enjoy! By the way, I had some crazy dreams, too. I've heard it's normal! Have a good week!
Yep, very weird dreams for me too. They were so vivid, I would swear they were real!
Your little bump is so cute...glad you are feeling better. I absolutely LOVED being pregnant. I would be pregnant all the time if I could. :)
