Mom/Daughter Trip 2012 {Savannah}

Could you guess where I was by the pictures?  Savannah!  Mom and I had the BEST time in this city.  Seriously, I am in love with it and cannot wait to go back.  Amazing restaurants, beautiful homes, lovely people....just a great city.  Here are some pictures from our trip if you would like to see...

And for the detes...
Where we stayed: Eliza Thompson House (a sweet bed and breakfast on W. Jones St. (probably one of the prettiest streets in the city).  Highly, highly recommend!  Friendly staff, gorgeous rooms and daily breakfast, wine and cheese and dessert.
Where we ate: Olde Pink House (must go!), Jazz'd, Goose Feathers, Gryphos, SOHO South Cafe, Elizabeth's, Leopolds.  We didn't have one bad meal.  Not a one.
What we did: Oglethorpe Historic Trolley Tour, Blue Orb City of the Dead ghost tour, Telfair museum, toured some of the churches, City Market, drove out to Tybee Island, Bonaventure Cemetery, Forsyth Park, visited each of the 24 squares, shopped on Broughton Street, walked everywhere!
What I wished we had done: Mrs. Wilkes (only open for lunch and not on weekends, so we just missed it), spent more time by the river, taken the river boat cruise, toured more of the old homes.
