Blue Grass, July 4th and a Blogging Hiatus

I've been doing some sporadic blogging lately.  As the 23rd looms closer, it is likely to be even more sporadic.  As in, you may think I have fallen off the face of the earth until like the 27th.  Y'all, if you ever find yourself considering law school (and the bar exam you will have to endure afterwards), please come talk to me first.  I can honestly say that I have NEVER done anything so challenging in my life, and we're still in the preparation/study part.  I have no idea how I am going to feel come test week.  I've never in my life said this before, ever, about anything, but if I had to do it over, this is something I.would.not.do.  If I do not pass this thing (good Lord, please let me pass this thing...please) the first go around, I honestly don't think I could do it again.

Ok, now that I have played my violin for you, lets look at some pictures from this past holiday weekend!  We trekked up to KY to see Matt's family and had such a great time.  It was nice to get away and see everyone, and even though I had to spend most of the time studying (violin music again), the change of scenery was really great.

So excited for a car trip (at least Riley was anyways)

(1) On our way, (2) Maddux's snoozing spot the majority of the ride

4th of July!

Snuck one in there

Sporting our red, white, and blue

A little fun in the sprinklers...it was HOT!

We got to visit the Smith's farm...heaven for me

Totally in my element
It was such a great visit!  Thanks for everything J and T!
