Brodie got the seal of good health this week and is ready for the adoption floor. Matt brought him to GBHS on Friday....
....and traded him in for our next foster....Skippy!
We've known we would be getting Skippy for awhile now, but had to wait to get him until he could leave 24/7 vet care. Skippy is now closer to 5 months old, but he was brought in at 3 months after being hit by a car and severely injured. He had a broken neck and pelvis and multiple other injuries and had to be confined to a crate in the clinic while his bones healed. Because of his sweet disposition and spunky personality, the wonderful people at GBHS knew they just had to treat him.
| Loooooving being in a warm house with lots of attention:) |
Skippy is also heart worm positive, so we will have him for a few months while he undergoes treatment. He's a very good boy with a sweet, sweet personality...so loving and friendly! Dogs just amaze me. They can go through so much bad stuff and just bounce back like nothing ever happened. Not a bitter bone in their bodies and ready to move forward to brighter days.
