Friday's Five Faves

 * Ezekiel bread. I'm kind of mad that I am just now trying this stuff and have been missing out. It's a great protein substitute and has way more nutritional value than plain old bread. I like the Ezekiel 4:9 brand...cinnamon raisin with a little almond butter in the morning and the low sodium for a PB&J sandwich at lunchtime.

* The fact that our pastor sends out random encouraging tweets throughout the day.  I was on my way to work this morning, feeling stressed and worried about something, and just generally in a sour mood, and then I read a tweet from him that just really made me change my attitude and feel encouraged.  The tweet?  "Friendly reminder: Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."  Not going to devour me today, no sir.  Attitude adjustment right then and there.

* Christmas decorations being out for sale in stores already.  Why do some many people get in a tizzy over this?  Christmas decorations never hurt anyone.  I personally love it...it makes me feel all giddy and festive inside.

I love this look

* Fire-making weather coming this weekend.  With temps in the 40s, pretty sure our fireplace is going to be occupied for the first time this season.  See, if it's fire-making weather, I think it's ok for stores to start selling Christmas decorations.  They go hand in hand.

* The Ole Henriksen skincare line.  This is big people.  I have used (and liked) the Skinceuticals line for several years now, but after I started noticing some changes in my skin and just not being as happy with Skinceuticals as I had been, I went in search of a new regimen.  After Ole Henriksen came highly recommended, I decided to give it a try.  I pretty much loved it from the start, but decided to give it a good 6 months before I posted anything about it.  Six months in and this is hands down the BEST line I have ever used.  Besides the fact that my skin feels and looks better, this entire line uses natural ingredients and is free of parabens, sulfates, chemicals and all that other scary stuff.  I am using the Three Little Wonders set, which includes their famous Truth Serum, a day cream and a night cream, and then I bought the Visual Truth eye cream separately.  If you can't decide, definitely start with the Three Little Wonders set because it has everything you need and provides a perfect combo of products.  Love.this.stuff.  Like for realzzzz.
