NOLA (and etc...)

We are back from our big hoopla of a vaca in the Big Easy.  It was marvelous, but we are TIRED.  They say NYC is the city that never sleeps?  I think New Orleans has one upped that.  I swear that place is just non-stop.  Thank goodness we only had to work 3 days this past week.  We've done nothing but recuperate over the weekend.  Oh, and did I mention the food?  We stuffed ourselves silly, so along with the much needed rest, I am on a Clif bars/apples/cereal diet for the next several days.  I am also only wearing empire waist dresses.

We stayed right on Bourbon Street (at the Bourbon Orleans) which made for some very interesting people watching.  Our hotel had a bar that faced Bourbon so we would just sit down there at night by the big windows and watch drunks people stumble walk down the street. H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S.

Just getting caught up on your blog! A few things....

1. I am super jealous of you getting to see two of my favs--Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band.

2. I am ready to see The Help, too!

3. I found that recipe for cake balls a month or so ago and have been DYING to make them. You have renewed my inspiration.

4. Yes, I did have a "magical" time at Disney!!! Everyone was super happy! Loved it.

5. I also loved your and Matt's story! I laughed out loud at some parts!

That's all for now. :)
