After I fooled them with a morning of their favorite things (bites of my bagel, walk around the lake, watching the fish from the dock, sniffing heinies), I dumped them off at the groomers. It's so funny because they always go in all excited, but then when I pick them up, they act like they just had a colonoscopy or something, tails between their legs and all violated. This probably has something to do with the fact that Riley HATES even my little blow dryer, but at the groomer he is forced to stand in "the box" which basically consists of 8 nozzles all blowing from different directions. Slightly traumatic I'm sure.
Very tired after their big day...
We had our first cook out at the new house that night. Check out our little table top grill...perfect for 2 burgers (Matt) and 2 portabella mushrooms (Me). Thanks John! Oh and let me tell you what a sight we were to the neighbors. Still haven't unpacked the outdoor radio, so Matt just turned his car radio on, to the country station of course. I haven't found a patio set yet, so we pulled out some lawn chairs and our TV trays and sat our redneck butts right in the driveway and ate our dinner. No shame.
