The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein

I love getting book recommendations from people (and by all means, if you have one, please do send), so I thought I would throw this one out there. If you are an animal lover, you will LOVE this book, but even if you aren't necessarily as animal crazy as me, I still think you will love this story. The best part is that it is written entirely from the dog's perspective and it is just so heartfelt and funny. These kind of books just warm my heart and make me appreciate Riley and Maddux so much. I mean seriously, who else just about dies of pure joy and excitement when you walk through the front door, or just worships you as if you were the greatest person to ever walk the face of the earth? Dogs are just the best...and that's just that.
